The new HSD SmartShop CNC’s from Laguna Tools, combine the power of the 11 HP (Italian) HSD spindles with the very popular 3,500 pound all-welded SmartShop steel base frames. The motion control systems include precision “helical” rack-and-pinion drives in both “X” and “Y” axes, and precision-ball screw drives in the “Z” axis! The powerful 11 HP (Italian) HSD ATC electro-spindles (programmable from 1,000 to 24,000 RPM), are complemented with an eight (8) position tool changer rack (ISO-30) for simplicity of operation.3 tool holders supplied
The HSD SmartShop CNC’s include our B&R PLC based controller as standard. Industry-standard G-Code makes the machines compatible with virtually all cabinet design and carving software packages.
The HSD SmartShops also come standard with universal six (6) zone vacuum tables, with independent zone control, and "T-Slots" for special machine set-ups. Vacuum pump included.
