Laguna Tools is pleased to introduce the new Puma CNC ... the flagship product of Laguna CNC product line. The Puma is a “go-fast” machine that was designed around a three-ton (6,000 lb.) machine frame with machine movement precisely controlled by a Syntec Industrial Controller and Yaskawa closed-loop servo drives. The Pumas can cut at speeds in excess of 2,000 ipm! The machines also features a powerful 11 HP Italian HSD electro-spindle (ATC) with programmable rpm from 1,000 to 24,000 RPM. The spindle is complemented with an eight (8) position automatic tool carousel (ISO-30) mounted on the tool plate adjacent to the spindle, permitting six (6) second tool changes from any position in the machine’s work envelope. 3 ISO-30 tool holders supplied with the machine The Puma CNC Routers are available in both 4’ x 8’ and 5’ x 10’ table configurations and feature 12” clearance under the gantry for fixturing flexibility (custom table sizes are also available). The machines also include universal vacuum tables with six (6) controllable vacuum zones and a 7 1/2 HP vacuum pump is included.
