The XSD 310 jointer planer is manufactured as part of the X31 combination machine, and is of the same professional quality. The powerful XSD 310 features two machines in one and can be changed over from Jointer to Planer in less than 20 seconds. All the work surfaces are made from high quality heavy duty cast iron and the thickness planer gives a very high quality finish.
The jointer shares the same fence as the Table Saw and is easily adjustable with positive stops at 45 and 90 degree angles. Jointer tables are 55" long with a cutting width of 12". The jointer has a three knife cutter head with spring loaded knives for easy changeover. Powered by a 3hp motor, it can take a huge 6mm cut on the thickness planer. The planer makes very high quality cuts and uses the same three knife cutter head as the jointer. The planer will accept up to 12" width and 9" height. The feed speed is 20 feet per minute.
