Master of Sales / Customer Service Emphasis – Great Work Environment!

We are looking for a dynamic sales team player that has passion for our work, company and customers. If you believe that you would enjoy working in a small company with a 27 year history that sells high-end woodworking machines throughout North America to homeowners and cabinetmakers – this might be the job for you.
This sales position has the primary responsibility of developing new business b2b and b2c. The ideal team member must have an outstanding attitude, sincere personality and passion for work. These qualifications are vital to join our team and fit in to our business.
Basic Duties
- Takes inbound inquiries generated from magazines, the internet and referrals from other customers.
- Makes high volume of outbound calls from our existing database .
- Manage and grow customer base as well as cultivating existing customers.
- Conducts follow-up calls to leads answering technical and product questions.
- Provide sales quotes as needed.
- A minimum of 3 hours phone time per day with a goal of 4 hours.
- Convert leads into customers.
- Builds and maintains customer relationships.
- Maintain an excellent representation of our company.
- A small amount of travel may be needed to attend trade shows (1 – 3 times a year)
Skills:
- Strong communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Farmer instinct
- Expert knowledge of the art of a sale
- Previous sales experience helpful but not essential.
- Basic computer skills.
- Self starter with a strong desire to succeed.
- Minimum of 2 years related experience.
- Knowledge of woodworking helpful.
- Stable work history – essential
- Excellent references.
- Passion!
