The Laguna Platinum Series 20" disk sander is a heavy-weight in disk sanders. The cast-iron table top provides plenty of work space for large and small projects and features a standard miter slot for jigs and angled sanding. The table top tilts on cast-iron trunions with a rack and pinion from -30° to +45°. The table height is also adjustable on a rack and pinion to allow for full access to the face of the sanding disk. The lower guard includes a dust collection port and the upper guard swings away easily for paper changes. The 20" disk is made from Cast aluminum that is precision machined and balanced for smooth sanding. The disk and motor assembly is so well balanced that it will continue to spin long after shut off unless stopped with a piece of wood. We stopped watching it after 16 minutes! This sander is sure to be a work-horse in your shop.
